SERCOS International e.V. announces "SERCOS goes Ethernet" workshops that will explain to users and manufacturers the advantages and possibilities of the new Ethernet-based SERCOS III technology. Supported by AMK, Automata, Hilscher, Manz Automation, Bosch Rexroth and Wago, the workshops deliver insights on the application and implementation of SERCOS III.
The following topics will be addressed:
SERCOS in Motion -- Introduction to SERCOS interface; Field reports on practical applications, e.g. machine tools, packaging machines, robotics and printing machines.
SERCOS goes Ethernet -- Technical Introduction to SERCOS III; SERCOS safety
-- the safety concept for applications up to SIL3; SERCOS C2C (Controller-to-Controller) -- the communication profile for interconnecting controls; and SERCOS IO -- the device profile for decentralized I/Os.
