SERCOS Booth at the SPS/IPC/DRIVES Show 2006 in Nuremberg, Germany

Ten members of SERCOS International (SI) are participating in a joint booth at the SPS/IPC/DRIVES trade fair (November 28–30, 2006) in Nuremberg, presenting their SERCOS products and components in an 80 sq. meter booth, #110 in Hall 6.

One of the highlights is a multi-vendor demonstration featuring six well-known control and drive manufacturers demonstrating the interoperability of their products, based on the new Ethernet-based SERCOS III controller-to-controller profile (C2C) and the SERCOS Packaging Profile. The participants in this demo are: AMK, Baumüller, Bosch Rexroth, Lust Antriebstechnik, Rockwell Automation and Yaskawa

In another multi-vendor demo, three Bosch Rexroth IndraControl L controllers -- each controlling 8 IndraDrive C servo drives -- are connected with each other and decentralized SERCOS III modular I/O stations from Wago. All devices are synchronized with each other and are able to communicate directly over the cross-communication feature of SERCOS III.

In addition, a prototype of the new test and development tool for SERCOS III, the SERCOS III Conformizer, will be exhibited.

The following co-exhibitors will be represented at the SERCOS booth: AMK, Automata, Baumüller, Bosch Rexroth, Hilscher, Lust, ISW, Manz Automation, Rockwell Automation and Wago.
