Visit The SERCOS Booth At Pack Expo 2008
 If you will be attending the Pack Expo show in Chicago on November 9-13, we invite you to stop by our booth, number C-17. It is located in the concourse level of McCormick Place North (on the left side of that area). Note that you can visit booths in the concourse prior to the official opening time of the show.
We will have on display a demo unit, courtesy of Rovema, a German manufacturer of forming, filling, sealing, and case packing machines. Rovema recently designed the Ethernet-based SERCOS III real time communications system into a new control system for their packaging machines. The functioning demo panel shows the Rovema control system. A SERCOS III master card from Automata is installed in the PC-based computer that runs Rovema's P@ck-Control system. Two high-speed, high-precision linear motors from Bosch Rexroth drive the longitudinal sealing tools. SERCOS III I/O supplied by Phoenix Contact completes the control system.
