SERCOS International and AUTOMATA have a strategic partnership, in which AUTOMATA has a license to use the SERCOS III IP Core for its own products and customer-specific projects. AUTOMATA then provides the maintenance and technical support of the IP Core, which represents the reference implementation for SERCOS III and which is used in the SERCON100 Master and Slave controllers.

For integration of SERCOS III technology into manufacturers products, AUTOMATA can be of tremendous assistance, in perspective of both time and costs. The company integrates SERCOS III master or slave functionality into customer devices, and can expand them with additional functionality, such as µController or field bus interface, all on the same chip.
