The SERCOS III PCI board from AUTOMATA is for multipurpose uses -- master or slave or both at the same time. The board is available with one or two interfaces, independently programmable for their functionality. The relevant firmware (SERCOS III Master or Slave IP core) can be downloaded via the PCI bus. Master and Slave driver software is also available.

In addition, the board is equipped with non-volatile RAM, enabling cyclic data backup with no extra battery required. The module includes an on-board FPGA for add-on functions.
