The CX1000 controller series from Beckhoff is designed for machine control tasks in the medium performance range. It combines the best of two worlds: Industrial PC and hardware PLC. It is a modular control system that can be mounted on a DIN rail with a direct and remote connection to I/O. Its components are plugged together depending on required functions and are installed in the control cabinet or terminal box.

The CX1500-M750 fieldbus master module allows a SERCOS-networked CX1000 system that can utilize all Beckhoff fieldbus components. I/O Bus Couplers, I/O Bus Terminal Controllers and drive technology can all be used as distributed control components for the design of complex SERCOS systems.
