Beckhoff Automation FC7501 (single channel) and FC7502 (two channel) are powerful PCI-based SERCOS interface™ cards optimized for use with Beckhoff Automation's TwinCAT programming and configuration software. The driver for the cards is incorporated into the TwinCAT software and allows optimum access to the SERCOS interface. The cards are capable of 16MBaud transmission rates. Multiple cards can be used for very demanding high-speed applications. The FC750X card generates the master clock tick and is then used by TwinCAT I/O and additional master cards for synchronization. Furthermore, TwinCAT I/O allows a SERCOS interface card to be synchronized to additional motion networks or I/O networks based on TwinCAT I/O's deterministic real-time capabilities.
