Logix

The Logix technology combines motion and sequential control into a single multi-tasking controller platform, resulting in lower system costs, easier maintenance and simplified system installation.

M08SE and M16SE

The 8-axis (1756-M08SE) and 16-axis (1756-M16SE) SERCOS interface Motion modules provide SERCOS interface™ drive connectivity and control for the ControlLogix controller. Standard features include:
	Single SERCOS interface ring with support for 8 axes at 4mb or 16 axes at 4/8mb.
	Compatible with the full line of Rockwell Automation SERCOS interface drives.
	Support for high resolution, single and multi-turn absolute feedback.

SERCOS interface

A single fiber optic ring serves as the sole interface between control and drive. It eliminates up to 18 discrete wires per axis, significantly reducing wiring time and related costs and enabling remote configuration and runtime diagnostics.

Drives and Motors

Several Allen-Bradley servo drives offer the benefits of Kinetix integrated motion, providing a choice of drives for improved performance in both single axis and multi-axis applications. As part of the Kinetix solution, these drives provide improved positioning accuracy and increased application throughput.

Kinetix offers the advantages of smart motor technology to provide automatic identification of the specific motor connected to the drive. This reduces commissioning time and safeguards against incorrect motor replacement. A variety of motors are available to provide the ideal combination of performance and cost-effectiveness.
