PC840 Series SERCOS-Based Drives
The PC840 servo drives series from Pacific Scientific (Rockford, IL) uses
SERCOS interface for closed-loop, real-time distributed control. The SERCOS chip ensures each drive receives update commands, such as positioning, velocity, or torque, from the controller as fast as every 500 microseconds. This can increase network speeds by 400%. Provides noise immunity, complies with IEC/EN 61491, and integrates with any
SERCOS-supporting control or device.
